Wound Graft Consent

Purpose and Description:

Risks and Complications:

Like any medical procedure, a wound graft has potential risks or complications, which may include:

  • Graft failure or rejection
  • Excessive bleeding during or after the procedure
  • Allergic reaction to graft materials
  • Scarring or delayed wound healing
  • Before the procedure, patients should discuss any specific concerns or medical conditions with their provider.

Aftercare and Instructions:

To maximize the success of a wound graft, follow all aftercare guidelines provided by your healthcare provider, which may include:
